ABOUT
Robbie is a Canadian filmmaker, writer and production designer. He studied Film and Television production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Robbie’s short films include Household, which premiered at the Chicago Horror Film Fesitval, as well as The Woods, Ed and Scorch, all of which premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival. His script The Man in the Cabin won 3rd place short at the Slamdance Screenwriting Competition, and his feature screenplays have placed in numerous competitions, including the ScreenCraft Writing Fellowship (semifinalist), and HollyShorts (finalist). His comedy pilot, Glam, earned him a spot at the CineStory TV Writing Retreat in California.
As a production designer, he has worked on a number of production including Lifetime’s thriller Seduced By His Lies, the forthcoming thriller The Millwood Murders, and three Hallmark Channel original movies in the Jane Mysteries series. He has designed commercials for clients including Sleep Country, Entrust, Original Joe’s and Full House Lottery. Has has also worked as a props master on features and series.
Before relocating to Toronto in 2020, he worked as a producer of fashion television and music videos in New York.
