ABOUT
Robbie is a Canadian production designer, filmmaker and writer. He studied film and television at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and working in video and television production in New York for several years, before relocated to Toronto.
He has designed a number of TV movies, including three Hallmark Channel originals in the Jane Mysteries series, starring Jodie Sweetin, and the forthcoming Deadly Deeds, produced by Candour Pictures. He has designed commercials for clients including Sleep Country, Entrust, Original Joe’s and Full House Lottery. Has has also worked as a props master on features and series.
As a filmmaker, Robbie has directed a number of short films including Scorch, The Woods and Ed, which premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival (in 2017, 2018 and 2019), and the forthcoming horror short, Household. His screenplays have placed in numerous competitions, including the Husslup x Semi-Formal Production romantic comedy content (2024 finalist), ScreenCraft Writing Fellowship (2020 semifinalist), and HollyShorts (2020 finalist). His script The Man in the Cabin won 3rd place short at the Slamdance Screenwriting Competition in 2021.
